Talent Support Plan

The Queensland Academy of Sport’s (QAS) Talent Support Plan (TSP) program supports aspiring Queensland athletes with future Olympic medal potential, helping emerging athletes, talent transfer athletes and athletes outside existing QAS sport programs progress towards elite competition through targeted performance support and development opportunities.

TSP athletes have achieved success on the national and international stage, including Gout Gout (athletics), who broke a 56-year-old Australian 200m record to become the second fastest U18 athlete in history, and Sarah Blizzard and Desi Johnson (bobsleigh), who represented Australia at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games.
