The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS), in partnership with Rugby Australia and Queensland Rugby, supports the development of emerging female Rugby 7s players, and their coaches, through expert and individualised performance support and access to world-class facilities and technology.
QAS-supported athletes and graduates have achieved success on the national and international stage, including Maddison Levi the leading try scorer on the HSBC SVNS Series in 2024 and current program coach and 2016 Olympic gold medallist Shannon Parry, demonstrating the strength of Queensland’s athlete development pathway from emerging talent to international success.
See Queensland’s Rugby 7s players train, compete and push the limits of what’s possible on the world stage.
We’re on the hunt for Queensland’s next generation of champions, and it could be you.
