The Queensland Academy of Sport is made up of four core service areas.
Our Coaching and Talent Development programs are focused on building the people and environments that underpin high performance success. We identify and develop future athletes, support coaches at every stage of the pathway, and work closely with sports to deliver education, development opportunities and targeted support.
The QAS delivers integrated performance support teams designed to maximise athlete availability and performance. This includes expert services across health, strength and conditioning, sports science and performance data, alongside specialist support through our swimming hubs. Working collaboratively across disciplines, we ensure athletes receive the right support at the right time to perform at their best.
Through athlete wellbeing and engagement services, High Performance Manager support, and operational coordination, we help athletes and coaches thrive and perform at their best.
Corporate Services is a key department within the QAS, providing essential support functions that enable organisational effectiveness. This area includes Human Resources, Finance, Brand & Partnerships, Procurement, Facilities, Governance and Digital Services.
