Sport integrity is about creating environments where everyone can participate, train and compete safely, fairly and with confidence. It helps ensure sport remains a positive experience that promotes wellbeing, respect, inclusion and high performance.
Threats to sport integrity can include:
At the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS), sport integrity is embedded across all aspects of the athlete environment. We are committed to fostering safe, fair, respectful and inclusive daily training environments where athletes can thrive and perform at their best. QAS takes a proactive approach to sport integrity through education, safeguarding, policy development, early intervention and effective complaint management. We work closely with Sport Integrity Australia, national sporting organisations and other key partners to prevent harm, promote positive behaviours and ensure concerns are addressed appropriately.
By building a culture of integrity, QAS supports athletes, coaches, staff and families to contribute to environments where wellbeing, safety and performance go hand in hand.
If there is an emergency or immediate danger to a QAS-supported athlete, individuals are urged to contact emergency services.
Non-emergency sport integrity concerns, including safeguarding concerns, can be reported to the QAS through the following Sport Integrity Report Form.
Athletes, coaches and staff members can also reach out to the QAS Sport Integrity Manager for assistance:

Athletes have the option to report integrity concerns to their respective National Sporting Organisations. These organisations are dedicated to upholding the integrity of their sports and can address a wide range of integrity issues.
Sport Integrity Australia can receive reports that relate to doping, child safeguarding or discrimination in sport. Use the Confidential Reporting Scheme form below to submit information anonymously to Sport Integrity Australia.
The QAS is committed to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all athletes, children and young people that are involved in the QAS-supported sport programs.
Our policies and procedures seek to address risks to child safety and to establish a child safe culture and practices.
