The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS), in partnership with Wheelchair Rugby Australia, supports Queensland’s best emerging and elite wheelchair rugby players, and their coaches, with expert and individualised performance support.
QAS-supported athletes have achieved success on the national and international stage, including Rio 2016 Paralympic gold medallist and three-time Paralympic medallists Chris Bond and Ryley Batt, reinforcing Queensland’s reputation as one of the country’s leading wheelchair rugby pathways.
See Queensland’s wheelchair rugby players train, compete and push the limits of what’s possible on the world stage.
We’re on the hunt for Queensland’s next generation of champions, and it could be you.
