The Queensland Academy of Sport’s (QAS) Medal Support Plan (MSP) program supports Queensland’s leading Olympic and Paralympic athletes with demonstrated medal potential outside existing QAS sport programs, providing targeted investment, individualised performance support and access to world-class expertise to maximise performance on the world stage.
MSP athletes have achieved success on the national and international stage, including Bree Walker (Bobsleigh), who secured a second-place overall IBSF World Cup ranking in the lead-up to the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games and Tahli Gill (Curling), who claimed gold at the 2026 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship to secure Australia’s first-ever title at the event.
