Studio Pilates partnership full circle moment for QAS Alumnus

QAS supported athletes will be able to improve their strength, flexibility and agility in a new partnership with Studio Pilates.

The partnership gives QAS supported athletes access to Studio Pilates classes across Australia and overseas at 100 franchise locations.

The partnership announcement is a full-circle moment for Studio Pilates co-founder and QAS Alumnus, Jade Winter, who represented Australia at the 1996 Olympics for swimming. Winter says it was an obvious choice to partner with the QAS following his time as a swimmer with the QAS.

“QAS helped me so much in my sporting career. It’s a real blessing to be able to give back to the QAS and QAS supported athletes,” said Winter.

The former Olympic swimmer founded Studio Pilates with his wife and qualified physiotherapist, Tanya, following his experience with cross training as a professional athlete.

“I personally believe that reformer Pilates, done right, is the Swiss army knife of cross training,” said Winter.

QAS supported athletes interested in adding reformer Pilates classes into their training plans are encouraged to chat to their strength and conditioning coaches.
