Results Wrap: Sweet success for QAS supported skateboarders and high divers

It was a winning weekend for QAS supported skateboarder Chloe Covell and high diver Lacey Hema who proved their talent against the world’s best competitors.

Street League Skateboarding, Sydney:

QAS supported skateboarder Chloe Covell won back-to-back Street League Skateboarding titles in Sydney. The recent XGames Gold Medallist dominated the Women’s Final, winning with 31.8 points in front of a sold-out Ken Rosewall Arena.

“It was amazing to get the victory again here in Sydney. Having the fans behind me is always such a great feeling,” Covell said.

Junior High Diving World Championships, Brasilia, Brazil:

QAS supported high diver Lacey Hema became the first World Aquatics Junior World Champion Higher Diver at the inaugural competition in Brasilia. The 16-year-old won the Women’s 15-16 Year age group with 67.20 points.

Looking ahead: Liam Walsh, Molly McGill and Ryan Elliott will compete at the UCI Track World Cycling Championships in Denmark. Kaylee McKeown and nine other QAS swimmers will compete at the Swimming World Cup in Shanghai.
