Results Wrap: QAS swimmers dominate Nationals, plus World Cycling Championships coming to Queensland

16 QAS supported swimmers have been selected for the World Short Course Swimming Championships in Budapest.

Australian Short Course Swimming Championships, Adelaide:

Milla Jansen set a new Australian Age Record winning the Women’s 100m Freestyle in 52.31 seconds. Kaylee McKeown won the Women’s 100m Backstroke. Lani Pallister won the Women’s 200m and 400m Freestyle. Alex Perkins and Lily Price swept the Women’s 100m Butterfly.

16 QAS supported swimmers selected for the World Short Course Swimming Championships in Budapest: Isaac Cooper, Elizabeth Dekkers, Joshua Edwards-Smith, Maximillian Giuliani, Meg Harris, Milla Jansen, Moesha Johnson, Tiana Kritzinger, Kaylee McKeown, Leah Neale, Lani Pallister, Alexandria Perkins, Lily Price, Enoch Robb, Edward Sommerville, Elijah Winnington.

Hockey Hall of Fame:

QAS Alumnus Mark Knowles has been inducted into Hockey Australia’s Hall of Fame in recognition of his achievements with the Australian Kookaburras, 20 years after his history-making Olympic Gold Medal win at the 2004 Athens Summer Games.
