Results Wrap: QAS-supported athletes return to competition following Paris Olympics

QAS-supported athletes have jumped straight back into competition following the Paris Olympics, with performances across surfing, swimming, rowing and cycling.

Surfing, World Surf League Fiji Pro, Fiji:

QAS-supported surfer Ethan Ewing placed 3rd at the Fiji Pro World Tour, booking himself a spot in the WSL Finals.

Swimming, Junior Pan Pacific Championships, Canberra:

QAS-supported swimmers won 13 medals at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships. Highlights included Milla Jansen winning three medals including silver in the Women’s 100m Freestyle.

Rowing, World Rowing Under 23 Championships, Canada:

Jarrod Lord and Mitch Salisbury won silver medals in the U23 Men’s Four. Drew Weightman won bronze in the U23 Men’s Single Sculls B Final.

Track Cycling, UCI Junior World Championships, China:

Alex Hewes secured Bronze in the Men’s Omnium. Toby Jones helped Australia’s team pursuit break the national record twice.
