QAS-supported athletes put on a show at the London Diamond League with record-breaking performances, and more para athletes were selected for Australia’s Paralympic Team.
QAS-supported sprinters Bree Masters, Torrie Lewis and Kristie Edwards helped set a new Australian record in the 4x100m relay with a time of 42.48 seconds, placing fourth.
Several QAS-supported paddlers represented Australia. Tom Green and Jean van der Westhuyzen won gold in the Men’s K2 500m.
Para Triathlon: Jack Howell (PTS5), Nic Beveridge (PTWC) and Grace Brimelow (PTS4) selected for Australia’s largest ever Paralympic triathlon team.
Para Athletics: Abby Craswell (T36), Samantha Schmidt (F38) and Corey Anderson (F38) selected for Australia’s Paralympic Athletics team.
