Results Wrap: QAS-supported athletes dominate Australian Swimming Trials and Olympic selections

QAS-supported athletes delivered showstopping performances at the Australian Swimming Trials, with multiple swimmers selected for the Paris Olympics and Paralympics.

Australian Swimming Trials, Brisbane:

On night five, Zac Stubblety-Cook won the Men’s 200m Breaststroke. Ella Ramsay won the Women’s 200m Breaststroke. Mollie O’Callaghan won the Women’s 100m Freestyle. Benjamin Hance won the men’s multiclass 100m Backstroke.

The final night delivered Kaylee McKeown winning the Women’s 200m Backstroke. Ariarne Titmus won the Women’s 400m Freestyle.

Olympic and Paralympic Selections:

31 QAS-supported Olympic swimmers and 16 Para swimmers were selected. Coaches selected included Dean Boxall, Michael Bohl, Tim Lane and others.

Beach Volleyball:

Mariafe Artacha del Solar and Taliqua Clancy selected for Paris.

Diving:

Cassiel Rousseau, Maddison Keeney and Alysha Koloi nominated for Paris.

Wheelchair Rugby:

The Australian Steelers reclaimed top spot in the world rankings following their Canada Cup result.
