Results Wrap – QAS supported athletes dominate across Track Cycling, Rowing and Athletics

QAS-supported athletes have delivered outstanding performances. From track cycling dominance to record-breaking athletics, here’s a breakdown of their latest achievements.

Athletics – Maurie Plant Meet: Lachlan Kennedy won both the 100m (10.17) and 200m with a massive personal best of 20.26. Ellie Beer dominated the women’s 400m in a personal best of 51.35. Ky Robinson won the men’s 5000m with an outdoor PB of 13:13.17. Matt Denny added a win in the men’s discus with 68.17. Bree Rizzo took gold in the 100m with 11.35.

Track Cycling – Australian Track Cycling Championships: Major gold medals included Ella Liang (Women’s Individual Pursuit), Paige Greco (Women’s C2-C3 Sprint). Notable silvers for Noah Blannin (Individual Pursuit), Sophie Watts (Women’s Sprint). Ella Liang set a new U19 World Record in the Women’s Time Trial.

Rowing – Australian National Championships, Tasmania: Astrid Thomas took gold in the U19W1x. Erik Horrie continued his dominance in Para rowing.

Beach Volleyball: QAS-supported duo Georgia Johnson and Lizzie Alchin earned bronze at the World Beach Pro Tour Futures.

Rugby 7s: Queensland’s Madi Levi broke Australia’s all-time Sevens try-scoring record with 189 career tries.
