QAS-supported athletes have delivered impressive performances at the World Short Course Swimming Championships in Budapest and the IBSF World Cup in Latvia.
The Australian swimming team, featuring 16 QAS-supported swimmers, secured 2 gold, 5 silver, and 5 bronze medals.
One standout performance came from Lani Pallister, who claimed gold in the Women’s 800m Freestyle and silver in the 400m Freestyle. Elijah Winnington took gold in the Men’s 400m Freestyle. Alex Perkins won bronze in the Women’s 50m Butterfly and Women’s 100m Butterfly.
Lani Pallister reflected: “It means everything to me to win here in Budapest. This pool holds such a special place in my heart – it’s where I won my first World Short Course title in 2022.”
Bobsleigh – IBSF World Cup, Latvia: Bree Walker clinched a bronze at the IBSF World Cup in Sigulda, marking her first podium of the season. “I’m excited to carry this momentum forward,” Bree shared.
