Results Wrap – Big Easter weekend wins for QAS-supported athletes

From national titles to international triumphs, QAS athletes delivered standout performances on some of sport’s biggest stages.

On opening night of the Australian Open Swimming Championships, Cam McEvoy showed he’s still got the magic, securing gold in the 50m Butterfly with 23.18. Ella Ramsay claimed her first national title in the Women’s 200m IM with a commanding 2:10.05.

Kaylee McKeown was back on top in the Women’s 100m Backstroke, taking gold in 57.65. Mollie O’Callaghan followed with silver. Meg Harris led a QAS sweep in the Women’s 50m Freestyle, winning gold in 24.57.

Bailey Lello powered to gold in the Men’s 200m Breaststroke. Isaac Cooper was untouchable in the Men’s 50m Backstroke, claiming gold in 24.80. Alexa Leary continued standout form in the Women’s 100m Freestyle Multiclass.

Lani Pallister was dominant in the women’s 400m freestyle, taking gold in 4:02.34.

Bree Rizzo capped off a stellar season by winning the women’s final at the 2025 Stawell Gift, calling the moment “up there with the Olympics.”

The Aussie Stingers water polo team wrapped up their World Cup campaign in fifth place, after a thrilling 14-13 penalty shootout victory over Italy. QAS-supported athletes Charlize Andrews, Abby Andrews, Tenealle Fasala, Alice Williams and Jess Emerson were part of the squad.
