As the Paris 2024 cycle concludes, the QAS formally begins its transition to a Statutory Body. As announced on 12 July, the transition will focus on future proofing the QAS in preparation for the Brisbane 2032 Games and beyond.
A dedicated Project Team has been established to oversee and deliver the transition, guided by QAS values and focused on developing fit-for-purpose governance and corporate arrangements.
This is the next step in the QAS’ journey and will support delivering the mission and positioning the Academy strongly for the future.
