QAS Athletes sweep top honours and shine in major debuts

QAS-supported athletes have claimed top honours across major events including Paddle Australia’s 75th Annual Awards, The Female Athlete Project Awards, and the Siargao International Surfing Cup.

Paddle Australia Awards: Curtis McGrath won Paralympic Paddler of the Year. Alyce Wood received the Excellence Award.

The Female Athlete Project Awards: The Stingers water polo team won Team of the Year after securing silver at Paris. Alexa Leary received the Return Award. Arisa Trew received the One to Watch award.

Surfing – Siargao International Surfing Cup: Sierra Kerr secured her third QS win of 2024, her first at the QS 5000 level. Oscar Berry claimed his first QS title in the men’s final.

Triathlon – Noosa: Brayden Mercer won his debut Garmin Noosa Triathlon with a 30-second lead.
