The Aussie Stingers secured an historic win over team USA on Day 13 of the Paris Olympics, the Water Polo team going into the Semi-Final of the Women’s Olympic competition.
The Aussie Stingers defeated USA in the Women’s Water Polo Quarter Final, featuring QAS supported athletes Alice Williams, Abby Andrews, Charlize Andrews, Elle Armit and Gabi Palm.
Kaylee McKeown won gold in the Women’s 200m Backstroke. Mollie O’Callaghan won silver in the Women’s 200m Freestyle. Australia’s Women’s 4x200m Freestyle Relay team, featuring multiple QAS swimmers, won gold in a world record time.
Matt Denny performed strongly in the Men’s Discus qualification, advancing to the final.
