Queensland’s history-making Freestyle BMX athletes are set to be stronger than ever thanks to a new partnership between AlphaFit and the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS).
The Gold Coast gym manufacturer has helped fit out a dedicated training space for athletes at the Gold Coast, including Paris 2024 Freestyle BMX bronze medallist Natalya Diehm, Tokyo gold medallist Logan Martin and the QAS supported BMX Freestyle team.
X Games Gold Medallist Brandon Loupos said: “AlphaFit’s equipment is top quality. We’ve got everything under one roof now and it really streamlines our training sessions.”
QAS Director of Performance Partnerships Jessica Walker said: “These are the types of partners that we are looking for, who can work with us on innovative solutions for athletes. AlphaFit’s $50,000 contribution to the Gold Coast facility has been incredible for QAS supported athletes.”
