The Allora product launched 67.73m with his fourth-round throw to secure back-to-back Commonwealth Games gold medals, taking control of the competition from his opening attempt and never surrendering the lead.
The victory adds another chapter to Denny’s remarkable career, with the Queenslander now boasting a complete set of Commonwealth Games medals after winning silver at Gold Coast 2018 before consecutive gold medals in Birmingham 2022 and Glasgow 2026.
