The Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) has brought together coaches from its YouFor2032 talent identification program for a workshop to share knowledge and develop best practices.
The workshop brought together coaches from multiple sports to share their experiences identifying and developing talent through the YouFor2032 program, which has successfully identified future sporting stars from across Queensland.
QAS Talent Identification and Development Lead Dr Alex Roberts said: “These coaches play a crucial role in spotting potential athletes and beginning their development journeys. This workshop helps them share learnings and improve their approach.”
The YouFor2032 program has so far identified and developed emerging talent across 17 partner sports.
